Jesse is set to join “The Mayor of Kingstown”, from “Yellowstone” creator, Taylor Sheridan. The Paramount+ prison drama stars Jeremy Renner, Kyle Chandler and Taylor Handley. Jesse’s episode, the penultimate of the season, airs on December 26th.

Jesse is on set this week as an investigator on the prolific docudrama series “Air Crash Investigation”. His episode Peril in Portugal will air as part of Season 22 on Nat Geo and Smithsonian.

The short film that Jesse shot as part of the 48 Hour Film Challenge in the fall, Downward Dogs, is playing at the Portland Comedy Film Festival this month. And on top of that, Jesse is nominated for his performance in the film in the Best Supporting Actor category, alongside his fellow UVic alum Peter Carlone.

Two projects that Jesse worked on last year have been getting significant critical acclaim. Fargo was nominated for three Golden Globes at this years' ceremonies, and The Revenant won for Best picture, director and actor, drama.

Oscar nominees were also announced this week. The Revenant was the most recognized film of the year, with twelve nominations, including Best Picture.
January 2016
The Revenant opens on January 8th in wide release. Jesse was a stand-in during the preproduction rehearsal and production of the new survival story, directed by Oscar winner Alejandro G. Iñárritu and starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy.

The second season of Fargo has been airing on FX - this past week saw Jesse appear alongside Patrick Wilson and Nick Offerman in the episode "Rhinoceros".

The episode of Hell on Wheels that Jesse appears aired on August 15, 2015 - titled "The Elixir of Life". Jesse plays Brian Lynch, an migrant railroad worker with a past history with series regular Mickey McGuinness, played by Phil Burke. The scene has been added to the demo reel - check it out!

Jesse got dirtied up to play the role of a migrant Irish railroad worker on the upcoming fifth and final season of AMC's Hell on Wheels. The final season begins airing on July 18, 2015. Stay tuned for more details.

Stay tuned to the television sets this fall when the second season of the award-winner series Fargo airs. Jesse was recently on set shooting a recurring principal role.

Jesse had the pleasure of acting in a brand new Heritage Minute, playing the goaltender of the very first gold medal-winning Canadian hockey team. The story goes far beyond the ice however, as the Winnipeg Falcons all served in the Great War. Jesse is incredibly proud to have played a part in telling their story.

Liebe is now available for online viewing after an incredibly successful festival run over the past year. At last count it played at over a dozen film festivals internationally, including Toronto After Dark, Fantasia and the Boston Underground Film Festival.

For the past two months, Jesse has been hard at work as a stand-in for rehearsals for the feature film The Revenant, directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu and starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy.

Jesse was proud to take part in shooting a new Heritage Minute for Historica Canada this month. Details are top secret until the spot airs in the Fall - but it does involve World War I and hockey. Grant Harvey (Heartland) directed the short.

"Liebe" a short film starring Jesse has been making the rounds on the film festival circuit this year, having already been seen at over a dozen festivals including the Vancouver International Film Festival, San Francisco IndieFest and Los Angeles' Shriekfest.
It was recently included on a list of the Top 12 Canadian Short Films of 2013 by The Shorts Report.
